I'm Tammy, a native Milwaukeean currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. I moved to Charlotte 4 years ago after completing the Masters in Information Technology and Management program at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

I started my post-graduate career as a developer for a small agency here in Charlotte. While most of my work there focused on all things frontend, this is where I received my first introduction to Laravel. I have since moved on to my current gig as a Programmer at Tighten , where I use Laravel almost daily. In my free time, I volunteer as a co-organizer for two of Charlotte's largest developer communities, Charlotte Devs and Queen City Bytes and I quite enjoy the occasional hike in the mountains or a chill weekend hangout with my girlfriends.
