I am a UK-based full-stack web developer, originally from Brazil. I work mostly with Laravel, MySQL, VueJS, Elasticearch.

I have been interested in computers since I was 8 years old, as my dad (who is a software engineer himself) has always been excited about technology and always involved me when building and setting up new computers or playing video games. Nevertheless, I saw computing just as a hobby, and always thought I wanted to become a journalist. It was only after taking a gap year from my journalism degree course that I decided to embrace computing as a career and chose to do an Information Systems degree back in Brazil.

On completing my degree I moved to the UK in 2015. After doing a six-month internship in the gaming industry, my first ever job as a developer has been my current role which I joined in 2018, and where I have been exposed to Laravel and its ecosystem (fallen in love, really!).

I am Mum to a beautiful baby boy. I enjoy playing video games and knitting, when I have time!
