My name is Bianca and I’m a full-stack developer in the Chicago area. My journey into tech seems inevitable in retrospect, having been raised by a computer nerd and inheriting his passion for all things tech. I studied computer engineering in college and very quickly realized that I much preferred the data science and coding side of things over the electrical engineering side.

I’ve been in tech for over 15 years now and have worked on some amazing projects, mostly in the non-profit conservation science world. I have recently joined a fintech startup just to keep things interesting, and it has been a great learning experience.

These days, my preferred stack for web development is Laravel, Vue, and Tailwind, but I also dabble in mobile development.

When I’m not in front of my monitor, I am probably growing plants, cooking, or reading.
