I am a full stack Laravel developer from Western New York.

I left my full time position as a Distance Learning Network Specialist to become a freelance Software Engineer while I raise my three little boys. I am a mother during the day and developer at night. I specialize in solutions for education; from custom Moodle plugins to Laravel applications. I developed the New York State Distance Learning Consortium Course Catalog which helps connect students to Distance Learning class opportunities across the state. It has been in production for almost a decade and allows schools to easily find courses offered in other schools that are available over Distance Learning. The NYSDLC then coordinates those connections so students can take courses that would not be available in their home district.

I am also excited to be building a Collaborations for Education solution which is intended to provide learners with opportunities to learn collaboratively across the globe. Classrooms will have access to a world of opportunities to learn with other classrooms.

I am a lifelong learner, and I love learning new things. I am constantly learning new things about Laravel and that is one of the reasons I love it. It continues to surprise me with its capabilities. My love for learning drives my need to build solutions for education and I will keep developing new tools that help provide opportunities for students.
