My name is Julia, and I am from northern Germany, and a part of the danish minority.

I did not know that I would become a developer when I first started studying multimedia design in Copenhagen in 2013. But I loved the challenges that came with the programming courses and choose to pursue a career in web development.

Back in Germany in 2017 I got my first fulltime job as a TYPO3 Developer at an advertising agency, where I mostly developed corporate websites.

About five months ago I started a new job at visuellverstehen, where I had the opportunity to learn something completely new and dig deep into developing web applications with Laravel and a Test-Driven-Development approach.

Trying to understand the nature of Laravel has taken me on a roller coaster ride of emotions for the past few months. But every day I am learning something new and enjoy developing with Laravel more and more.
