I’ve loved being behind a computer since I was a kid. When I had my first online surfing experience at age eight on a local network, it was love at first sight. By the time I was twelve, I was building my own CU2 page (a Dutch social networking site) and getting my first taste of HTML. At the time, I didn't yet see a professional path for myself in those interests.

After nine years in healthcare and social work, and designing social events and educational programs, I completed a Master’s in Fine Arts. During my Master’s, my vision as a maker came to the forefront, and with it, my interest in digital technology came to the forefront. In 2024, I started learning HTML & CSS, and my passion for web development has only grown since; I am currently building my expertise in PHP (Laravel).

In my free time, I am developing a Dutch website about the history and impact of women in STEM, and I hope to one day work on projects that help support care and community. I love reading, going on trips, eating out, and playing games. I have a weak spot for glitter and lights combined with sound and tech. I’ve been playing The Sims for years (and still do!), I adore my cat, and I’m always in for a good perfume-smelling session. Gossip Girl remains one of my favourite series ever made. I love the attention to detail and the on-point casting!
